How to Expect and Allow Success In Your Life

Most people spend their time trying to force success. They focus on the hows and all the little picture stuff that is associated with accomplishing a task. In the Treatem Right Seminar, we discuss a simple way to get the allowing process to work for you.

It all starts with your "I am" Statements and the "Whys" behind those statements. It also includes using the SendOutCards system to send the right information to yourself or your subconscious mind. This is how it works:

List your I Am Statements on 3 x 5 index cards. An I Am Statement is simply stating, in present tense, the things you desire. Example "I am an Eagle Distributor in SendOutCards, I am enjoying my new dream home, I am financially independent and debt free, etc." Once you have these statements on your index cards, carry those cards everywhere you go and send those statements to yourself by reading them. You then send your I am Statements to yourself in a greeting card. It is extremely important to follow through with this step.

State the "Whys" behind your desires. You have to have a compelling enough Why. I always end the TER Seminar by telling the compelling Why story behind SendOutCards. It helps you to understand the importance of the Why.

Use the SendOutCards system to send your Why statements to yourself in a greeting card. This is the Why behind your I am Statement. Why do you desire financial independence? Why do you desire the dream home? etc. Use Picture Plus to visualize your desires on your greeting cards. We call these your Dream Cards. We encourage you to send a dream card for every I Am statement you have. Have fun with this and make sure you do it.

Now that you are programming your mind with the right things, you can easily expect and allow success to happen as long as you have a Process of Action.

Success requires a "Process of Action". We set this up by illustrating a 3 step staircase that takes you to your desired results. You will notice the "Process of Action" to be the middle step:

Stepping up to Results:

Step #1 is defining your desires and stating them daily. (I am / We are Statements)
Example: I am an Eagle Distributor in SendOutCards.

Step #3 is the result. This is where you become an Eagle and enjoy the financial freedom that position will provide.

The step between the "I Am Statement" and the "Actual Result" is where most people get caught. The key is to understand the need for a "Process of Action" and to implement it at the highest possible energy level.

Step #2 is the process of action step. This is where results are created. In SendOutCards the "Process of Action" is the "Eagle's Flight Pattern." The key is to learn it, teach it, and practice it daily. The daily practice of the "Eagle's Flight Pattern" needs to be at a level where you no longer think about it, you just do it. We call this Level 4. An example is; tying your shoes, you don't think about the process of tying your shoes you just tie your shoes. If you practice the "Eagle's Flight Pattern" consistently, you will get to Level 4 where you no longer think about it, you just do it. This is when your business will skyrocket!

The most important step in the Eagle's Flight Pattern is to 1) Send an unexpected card every day, and 2) Set up a gift account every day. Get to Level 4 with these two activities and ALLOW success to flow to you. It is an amazingly simple and powerful process. Expect it and allow it to work for you.

The advantage to a program like SendOutCards is that the "Process of Action" is already in place. It is being implemented by leaders and is generating desired results. A new representative can tap into the "Process of Action" from day one and focus on getting better and better at it until they no longer think about it. Again, the "Process of Action" is the "Eagles Flight Pattern". Learn it, teach it and practice it every day.

You can implement the 3 step process with any goal you have. The only difference is that with other goals, you need to recognize the "Process of Action" when it shows up.
If you properly state your "I am / We are" statements consistently, your "Process of Action" will show up. Again, the key is to recognize it when it does.

As an example, I have a friend that is a tile flooring contractor. He installs tile floors in large custom homes in Utah. He makes about $50,000 per year. Because he worked around large custom homes every day, he began to visualize himself and his family in a large custom home. He created an "I am/We are" statement that said: "We are living in our new custom home". He was around these homes every day so he had a daily visualization of the home of their desires.

Now let me pose a question. How does a guy making $50,000 per year move into a $650,000 home? Simple, he has an "I am/We are Statement". He creates the feel-good of that statement by visualizing this home every day. Now, he simply waits for the "Process of Action" to show up. Here is what happened; he started doing what other contractors were doing. He built a smaller home and sold it at a profit. He took his profits and financed another home project. Built again, sold again and made more profit. He got to the point where he no longer thought about the process, he just did it. He was doing this as a side business to his regular income. In the period of 14 short months, he had amassed enough money to use as collateral on a large construction loan. He was granted that loan, he teamed up with a buddy who had a general contracting license and he contracted the building of his own dream home. Total construction loan was $375,000. He built the home, used $200,000 of his money and $175,000 mortgage to pay off the construction loan. When he moved into the home, it appraised for $650,000.

He recognized the "Process of Action" when it showed up. He implemented a daily practice of this process. He did this consistently enough to where he no longer thought about it, he just did it. The Result: A $50,000 per year income earner in a $650,000 dream home.

This friend of mine had some skills and tools that allowed him to build his wealth this way. Most people don't have the skills to build their own home. This is where an opportunity like SendOutCards comes in. We provide ourselves and others with a program that changes lives. We also provide an opportunity that creates additional income. We even provide the "Process of Action" and leaders that have implemented it and who teach it. Couple all of that with training programs that give you the proper mind-set for success.

We are creating wealth in abundance and it is an incredible journey.

Your Friend,
Kody Bateman

Grand Opening...Will not be attending!

I have finally come to terms with the fact that I will not be able to go to Grand Opening of Send Out Cards next week. I was unable to find a plane ticket within my price range. I will be cancelling my room and ticket for the event on Monday. I am still holding out a little shread of hope that I will be able to go but seriously doubt it.

I hope that everyone that does attend has a wonderful time!

In abundant gratitude,

Natalie

Action!

One of my New Years resolutions was NO more excuse. No more excuses for not doing the work I know I need to do in order to build the business that I have dreamed of. This actually came from a conversation that I had with Autumn. She was saying that we was going to take more action. More action for me means excepting no excuses from myself.
At the end of last year, I had resolved to "just do it". No thinking about it or analyzing thing to death. Just do what God has lead me to do! No fear of what someone will say! I am taking ACTION!

Procrastination!

I found this one another site and thought it was great! It really lit a fire under my little behide!

Allow me to start this with a quote:
To think too long about doing a thing often becomes its undoing. ~Eva Young

“I’ll do it tomorrow”. Does this sound familiar? Getting something done is easy when it is something we enjoy. Unfortunately, we all have lots of tasks that we don’t particularly enjoy. Even when a thing simply must be done, almost all of us are pretty good at coming up with excuses for putting them off:

· So I’m getting a little over-weight! Who isn’t?
· I'm just not in the mood right now.
· I’ll go for a run tomorrow, the weather isn’t that good today.
· I’ve got plenty of time to get it done.
· What’s the point, I’ll just have to do it all over again in two days.
· It's not like they can’t do it without me.
· I’ll leave it until the day before. I work better under pressure.

Do any of the above points sound familiar? I’ll bet you can add a few to the list without too much trouble! I know it sounds funny when you look at the issue like this but the trouble is procrastination wreaks havoc in most of our lives.

Why do we procrastinate?
Some reasons are easy to spot but others are not so obvious:
· some things just aren’t fun!
· we are uncomfortable about doing some things (e.g. preparing a speech)
· we don’t feel up to the job
· we are angry that we have to do it in the first place
· we have had a bad experience in the past

What can we do to procrastinate less?
Okay, this is a tough one to kick-start because the first inclination of most of us is to put it off. That’s my idea of a joke! Procrastination is simply a habit. Like most habits, we tend not to notice them (our own at least) most of the time. One way to break the habit is to replace it with another one. A good habit to replace it with is to examine your reasons for putting things off when you catch yourself doing it. Most of the time the excuse you were using to procrastinate just won’t stand up under examination. If you have to, make a list of the pros and cons of doing vs. not doing the thing you are procrastinating on. I’d be willing to bet that a good percentage of the time you will just get on with the task.

There is a trap here! Try not to put yourself down when you are examining why you procrastinate. Negative reinforcement is depressing and leads to bad self-image. There is nothing to be gained by telling yourself you are lazy or you are stupid or you aren’t capable of ding something. It is self-defeating. Instead, list the positive things about getting it done straight away. Look at how it will make you feel if you get the job done. Examine how others will see you in a more positive light. Consider how much more you will enjoy your leisure time when you know you have your jobs done. Realize how much grief you will save yourself by being proactive. In short, focusing on the positive aspects will have a much more motivating impact on you.

How can we make things easier?
Don’t expect yourself to be perfect
Perfection is difficult to achieve at the best of times. Most often it is not only unnecessary, but counter productive. The law of diminishing returns comes into play here. Do the job well and get the result. Don’t shoot for perfect unless there is a reward equal to the effort.

Get you goals and priorities straight
Be clear about what is the most important thing to get done and do that first. Leave the less important stuff for last. It is far more motivating to know you have the hard or important things completed. Once you have the job broken down it is easy to prioritize.

Break the job down
Tackle the job in bite-sized pieces. Don’t take on more than you can get done in the time you allocate. This guarantees that you feel good at the end of the task because you have completed it.

Reward Yourself
Make sure that when you get a job done you give yourself a pat on the back. Reward yourself in some way for accomplishing what you set out to do. It gives you something to look forward to.

Let me generalize a bit. The thing is, we are all built pretty much the same way. A carrot is better than a stick even though they can both accomplish the same thing. But what is more motivating? What make you more likely to tackle the job at hand? If you like carrots and you associate the jobs at hand with getting a carrot at the end, you are less likely to procrastinate.

I started with a quote so let’s finish with one I really like:

Procrastination is something best put off until tomorrow. ~Gerald Vaughan
