My First Chamber Meeting!
Today, I finally made it to the Cobb County Chamber of Commerce's Lead to Success meeting. I am so glad I made myself go! It was one of the most eye opening and interesting I have done for my business.
When I first arrived, I signed in and then got a name tag. I then entered the conference room and sat down. There were a few other people there mingling. They all seem to know one another. One guy came up to me and introduced himself. He was a business coach. I may attend a few of his seminars.
Anyway, the meeting started and we all got to stand up and give a 30 second commerical about our companies. I was very nervous but did it! I actually did it! At the end of the meeting, everyone passes out information on people that may be intersted in the service you provide. I received 2 leads from this one little meeting. I need to follow up with them as soon at possible!
I am so excited it can hardly stand it!
